Certain people are bothered occasionally by gallstones consisting usually of cholesterol that precipitates out
of the bile and collects on the floor of the gallbladder. Gallstones also can consist of calcium salts. Once in awhile stones will travel to the bile ducts, and if they are large enough, cause discomfort. The stones often pass on through to the small intestine without incident and are subsequently eliminated.
However, stones blocking bile ducts can lead to a severe or life-threatening bacterial infection of the bile ducts, the pancreas or the liver. Note: If you are in extreme pain or are running a fever, do not use the following method, but instead go to urgent care or consult your doctor immediately!
1. Wash 10 medium-size, fresh apples, cut them into quarters and remove seeds. Put the apple quarters through a juicer to extract 4 cups (or if you use metrics, 1,000 cc) of apple juice.
2. Drink 1 cup of apple juice four times a day, in the morning, afternoon,
evening, and before bedtime. Ideally use it before meal or between meals. Do not ingest it immediately following a meal. Maintain your regular diet, but go easy on fats.
3. Follow the above directions for five consecutive days, 4 cups (250cc) per day.
4. Stop drinking apple juice on the sixth day. Do not eat dinner on that day. Between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m., dissolve 1 or 2 teaspoons of epsom salts (available in drugstores) in 1 cup (250cc) of water. Drink it on an empty stomach. Around 10 p.m. squeeze one or two medium-size, fresh lemons to get about a half cup (125cc). Add a half cup of olive oil (about 125cc), blend the two together well and drink the mixture on an empty stomach. After drinking it, lie down on your right side. While you’re lying in this position, place a hot towel or a heating pad over the lower right rib cage. The feeling of distension means the ducts are expelling the stone(s).
5. After you get up in the morning on the seventh day, drink a glass of cool water (250cc or less) on an empty stomach. When you feel the urge to go, relieve your bowels. Under the normal circumstances, several emerald-colored gallstones will be emitted and will be floating on the surface of water. The size of the gallstones may vary, from as small as grain of sand to as large as the upper part of a thumb. Feeling uncomfortable in the abdominal area is normal. Rest for one or two days and the discomfort will disappear.
If gallstones bother you, do this easy treatment on a regular basis. Eat healthy and exercise. Avoid overeating fat.
